A trail of beautiful giraffe sculptures will take Worcester by storm for 10 weeks this summer.
Winding through the streets and public spaces, decorated giraffes will be on show from the 9th July to the 16th September 2018.
St Richard’s Hospice and Wild in Art can’t wait to celebrate the artistic talents of Worcestershire and beyond. All segments of the creative community have been encouraged to get involved – from established artists to those who are, as yet, undiscovered.
Art students, adults and children, community groups, painters, sculptors and artists working in all types of mediums – from metalwork and fine art to street art – were invited to take part and have submitted a host of beautiful designs.
We will work closely with the local arts and culture sectors so the event truly reflects Worcester’s cultural identity. We will make Worcester Stands Tall inclusive and participatory and we are really excited to invite all artists, whatever their level of experience, to help us stand tall for the county of Worcestershire in 2018.
