Emily (b. Worcester 1992), is a Birmingham-based artist who often creates work relating to digital culture: including memes and internet humour. She is PhD student (painting) at the Royal College of Art, London and previously completed an MA in Queer Studies in Arts and Culture at Birmingham School of Art.
Emily has works in both public and private collections including ‘An Ode to Christian Joy’ which was bought by the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery in 2015. In 2017 she was selected for the Ruth Borchard Self Portrait Prize and she is currently working on a comic.
