The individually designed, 8ft tall sculptures will appear throughout the city from Monday, July 9 to Sunday, September 16 – inspiring residents and visitors to uncover Worcester’s cultural gems and discover areas they may not have explored before.
At the end of the project, the sculptures will be auctioned to raise vital funds for the St Richard’s Hospice Build 2020 Appeal. If you would like to make a donation to support Worcester Stands Tall and the Build 2020 Appeal, please follow the link below.
Each year, St Richard’s Hospice provides free, specialist palliative care to more than 3,000 patients, their loved ones and bereaved people across the county.
The hospice strives to provide the best medical, practical, emotional and social support it can to help people live life to the fullest, as independently as they can, for as long as they can.
The Build 2020 Appeal is raising the funds needed to build a bigger hospice, enabling more patients and families to be cared for in Worcestershire.
The total cost for expanding and redeveloping the existing building in Wildwood Drive, Worcester, is £5.3m.
