There will soon be plenty of fundraising opportunities for you to stick your neck out, have a giraffe and get involved with raising money for St Richard’s. Watch this space!
For the time being, we are looking for enthusiastic knitters and those who crochet, who would like to donate their time and expertise in making some woollen giraffes to showcase in our Worcester Stands Tall shop, during the trail.
We have a few patterns to choose from. Are you able to help?

As these woollen delights will not have been tested and certified, we are unable to ‘sell’ them in our shops, so we will be asking for suggested donations, raising funds for the St Richard’s Hospice Build 2020 Appeal.
If you would like to make a direct donation to support Worcester Stands Tall and the Build 2020 Appeal, please follow the link below.
Each year, St Richard’s Hospice provides free, specialist palliative care to more than 3,000 patients, their loved ones and bereaved people across the county.
The hospice strives to provide the best medical, practical, emotional and social support it can to help people live life to the fullest, as independently as they can, for as long as they can.
The Build 2020 Appeal is aiming to raise the funds needed to build a bigger hospice, enabling more patients and families to be cared for in Worcestershire.
The total cost for expanding and redeveloping the existing building in Wildwood Drive, Worcester, is £5.3m.
