I’m having problems signing in.
Try turning your phone off and on again – this has worked for other app players. Close down the app completely and re-open it. Fill in your name, email, postcode, age and group size details. You should get through to the Contact Preferences screen. Make sure you read and agree to the Ts & Cs to continue. If you’re still having problems please email email@example.com with the make and model of your phone and the email address you’re using to register and we’ll do our best to help.
How do I find the sculptures?
Select Open Trail on the home screen to use the map; pinch and swipe the map to zoom in and out. Location settings need to be turned ON to see your location on the map. Or go to the Trail tab to access the Giraffe and Calf listings and search for the name of the giraffe, calf, artist or location.
How do I unlock a Giraffe/Calf?
There is a 4 digit code found on the plaque. There are two ways to unlock it on the app. You can do a Quick Unlock by clicking on the unlock icon on the Total tab at the top of the screen and entering the code there. Or you can enter the code on the sculpture page.
How do I add a photo to the Gallery?
You can upload a photo to the app Gallery by clicking Upload. You’ll be asked to either Take a photo or Choose from library. Images uploaded will be vetted by the Worcester Stands Tall team prior to being published on the app. Your photo will be seen by other app players and can be shared on social media. So get creative!
How do I listen to the audio on the app?
Simply pop your headphones on and click the speaker icon on each giant giraffe page and hear all about the sculptures as told by Free Radio’s Tom and Hursty. To turn it off simply click the same sound icon again. The icon will be greyed out when audio is turned off.
If you’ve already unlocked a sculpture the app will display an incorrect code message. Check your Giraffe listing pages to see if you have already collected it. If not, it could be an error we need to fix – gulps! So please let us know the code and bear by emailing at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do I need to fill in all the sign up fields?
Yes. You need to fill in your name, email, postcode, age and group size.
- Name – We use this to identify you.
- Email – Your email address allows you to login to your app account. It also enables us identify your account if you require support, we’ll use this email to communicate with you. If you consent to email communications on the app’s Contact Preferences screen we’ll add this email address to the mailing list.
- Postcode – We’ll use this for our event evaluation. (Don’t worry we’ll never sell your info to third parties).
- Age – We’ll use this for event evaluation and to determine if we can stay in touch. If you’re under 16, we’re sorry but you’ll need to wait another year before you can join the mailing list.
- Group Size – We’ll use this for our event evaluation. (Don’t worry we’ll never sell your info to third parties).
At the end of the trail your sculptures, bonuses and voting stats will be anonymised and used for event evaluation purposes only. If you do not wish your anonymised stats to be used in event evaluation you can opt-out in writing to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org.
How long do you keep my personal information?
App Players – We keep your personal information for 6 months following the end of the art trail/event auction. After which Wild in Art and St. Richards Hospice will promptly and securely anonymise the app data.
Mailing List – Consenting app players shall be added to the respective mailing lists for Wild in Art and/or St.Richards Hospice in accordance with Wild in Art and St.Richards Hospice privacy policies. You may unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time. Just follow the instructions in those messages. If you unsubscribe from the mailing list, we may still send you other messages, like those about your account and legal notices.
